Sidas medical orthotics for your foot pain

Here at Footsteps we use the latest Sidas technology to prepare orthoses for your feet. Whether you have a low or high arch, foot misalignment or heel pain, ankle instability or lower leg problem we can customise these to your requirements. During your biomechanical examination we determine the root of your problem and create your orthoses prescription.

We then cast your feet in the neutral position (semi-weight-bearing) using silicone cushions and mould the orthoses to your exact needs. Your prescription can then be modified by adding any forefoot or rearfoot postings, heel lifts, metatarsal pads, interdigital plugs or any additions you might require.

If you have a foot, ankle or lower leg pain speak to us and find out how we can help. Not all clients are suited for foot orthoses or the cause of your pain may not require orthosis (you might have a corn or painful callus) therefore the best option is to book an initial podiatry appointment. During this appointment we can get to know your feet and form a treatment plan which is suitable for you.
